Indication
The Nutriline catheters are intended for short-term (up to 30 days) intravenous (IV) administration of total parenteral nutrition (TPN), antibiotics, IV medications or fluids.

Description
Peripherally inserted central venous catheter (2Fr / 24G) in polyurethane for drug administration and parenteral nutrition.Nutriline can be inserted either through a splitting needle (codes 1252.15 and 1252.30) or through a peelable short IV cannula, Microflash type (codes 1252.030, 1252.150 and 1252.35).
Nutriline code 1252.030 (with Microflash introducer) is supplied with a stylet.
Supplied in a rigid blister pack containing:
- 1 polyurethane catheter 15 or 30cm long (with graduations every centimetre) with fixation wings and integral extension tube in PUR with clamp (length 11cm). Diameter of the catheter: 2Fr / 24G
- 1 splitting needle (20G - 25mm long.) or 1 peelable short IV cannula Microflash (20G - 18mm long.)
- 1 syringe adaptor to connect the syringe onto the hub of the splitting needle to prime it (codes 1252.15 and 1252.30)
- 1 measuring tape
