Description
Biovalve Safe is a ported PTFE peripheral IV cannula radiopaque and transparent. Biovalve Safe is designed to protect the health-care worker from accidental infections due to needlestick injury or blood splatter. It integrates an engineered passive safety systems.The lateral injection port is fitted with a colour-coded cap (according to the size of the catheter) meeting the requirements of the ISO norm 10555-5.Biovalve Safe is also supplied with a cap to obturate the catheter if it is not used immediately after its placement.
Biovalve Safe is available in 6 sizes: 22G (code 106.082) - 20G (code 106.102) - 18G (codes 106.122 and 106.1232) - 17G (code 106.142) - 16G (code 106.172) and 14G (code 106.212).
