Antimicrobial technology:
The PICC-Line Maxflo Expert features Agion™ antimicrobial technology. Agion™ is an inorganic silver ion compound that maintains an antimicrobial surface to help control infection.
Safe CT injections:
The Maxflo Expert allows highest flow rates up to 7mL/s, which makes the CT examination of a wider number of organs possible and allows better quality image and tissue visualisation.
This medical device is compatible with high pressure injections of 325 psi (22.4 bar).
Wide range for all insertion techniques:
The Maxflo Expert is available in three catheter sizes: 4F, 5F and 6F, in one, two or three lumens. To meet the needs of different types of placers and their insertion technique, there are several kit configurations:
- with 50cm, 67cm guide for the Micro Seldinger technique,
- with 135 cm guide for the "over-the-wire" technique.
