SEESITE® SURGICAL implantable ports allow repeated and prolonged access to the venous system. SEESITE® SURGICAL implantable infusion ports are used to administer chemotherapy, antibiotics and antiviral medications. They can also be used for parenteral nutrition, collection of blood samples and transfusion of blood or blood products.
All SEESITE® SURGICAL references can be used for high flow injection of contrast media during CT procedures (compatible with high pressure injectors).
All references can be used on adults.

Unique RX marking
Seesite® ports have an unique radiopaque marking. This makes it easy to identify the maximum injection rate. Moreover, the radiopaque marking allows to check that the chamber is in the correct position, and to detect easily any flipped. Seesite® implantable ports are compatible with high-pressure injection of contrast media for CT and MRI examinations up to flowrate 5 ml/s and maximum pressure 325 psi.
Light and safe
Like Polysite®, Seesite® consists of a titanium reservoir and a polyoxymethylene (POM) outer casing, making Seesite® a lightweight implantable chamber.
Moreover, Seesite® has smooth angles and his profile-shaped design requiring only a small surgical pocket.
Adaptability
To adapt to the anatomy of all patients, from paediatric to adult, Seesite® is available in 3 different sizes: micro, mini and standard. Ports pre-connected or to be connected. Catheter diameters range from 5F to 10F and different lengths are available (from 60 to 80 cm). Catheters available in polyurethane or silicone.
The Seesite® range is also designed to suit the needs of every user, with different kits available: surgical and percutaneous with ultrasound-guided puncture.
The implantable ports Seesite® is a Class III sterile medical device. Certification established by GMED notified body no. 0459.
They allow repeated and prolonged access to the venous system.

Description
SEESITE® SURGICAL implantable ports are composed of a radiopaque port and a catheter, which are connected and held together by a connection ring. They come either preassembled or ready for assembly. The port is accessed using a Huber needle, placed percutaneously. The materials from which SEESITE® SURGICAL implantable ports are made of, can be used with almost all solutions for injection and are compatible with CT-scan and MRI-scan examinations.Each SEESITE® SURGICAL placement kit contains:
- a SEESITE® SURGICAL port in titanium and POM (polyoxylomethylene) with a silicone septum, silicone filled suture holes and radiopaque marking,
- a XRO catheter, in silicone or polyurethane,
- two connection rings with a Phynox thread containing nickel,
- a straight Huber needle,
- a vein pick,
- a flushing connector, pre-connected to the catheter.
